The New South Wales is packed with turf companies offering similar items and services, all fighting for the attention of local customers. In the synthetic turf industry, establishing a good brand online and increasing brand awareness while driving sales and conversion is notoriously difficult. To have a successful launch and grow the business week-over-week, we are challenged to develop a fully eCommerce website to drive leads, phone calls, orders and increase cross-sell opportunity from supply to install.

Discovery

King Turf's founder has been in the artificial grass business for 10 years, but the brand is fairly new to the market, established only this 2020. With the pandemic and all the government measures, their founder felt the need to launch the brand digitally. With the brand name itself, it is easy to distinguish that the brand wants to be an industry leader. With this, we knew that we need to create a visual identity that aligns to its brand's narrative and help the company stand out. King Turf’s customers are mobile 1st and therefore having a sleek, responsive and fast mobile site was at the forefront of every step taken. To drive more awareness of their brand, we also realised the need to take their promotion to the next level by developing campaigns and pushing their offerings to search engine's feeds.

Results

Since launch, King Turf's business has been growing at 50% week-over-week with cost per leads decreasing by 30% and site traffic growing at 110%. Delivering an end to end project meant we could change website layout and functionality based on the data we have seen from social and paid ads activity.
